GPG subsidiary ClearVUE.Business achieves ISO 27001 certification

Global Procurement Group subsidiary ClearVUE.Business was given ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, the global information security standard. ClearVUE.Business guides companies towards net zero by monitoring their emissions through its energy and carbon accounting platform ClearVUE.Zero

The certificate verifies that the company’s operations are governed by an Information Security Management System (ISMS). The full software development life cycle, platform management, corporate IT, cloud infrastructure management, and client onboarding are all included in the scope, with independent testing organization Bureau Veritas, accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), issuing the certification.

The accreditation is proof of ClearVUE.Business’ dedication to protect clients’ information and provide a service customers can depend on. It is also recognition of the ClearVUE.Business team’s commitment to build a safe and secure product.

Independent auditor RSM Malta was also engaged by ClearVUE.Business to confirm that the system put in place is based on information security best practices, culminating in ClearVUE.Business achieving the globally renowned ISO 27001 certification in only two months. Given that businesses typically need up to six months to complete the entire ISO certification process, this is a strong achievement by ClearVUE.Business.

“The process was intense. I am really pleased by the level of teamwork across our offices in Ta’ Xbiex (Malta), Chennai (India), and Gateshead (UK) from all departments involved” stated Ralph Attard, Chief Technology Officer at Global Procurement Group. “Achieving ISO 27001 certification for ClearVUE.Business proves our commitment to keep securing and protecting customer data.”
